    Upgraditus has begun........

......... and the 7 has only been in ‘Winter Mode’ (ie not moving !) for a month !!!!.

Just ordered a Carbon AeroScreen and Mirrors from Richard in France (or is that Scotland ?).
Really looking forward to that wind in the face feeling. It would have been wind-in–the hair, but for those that no me, sadly, that is not an option for me anymore !!!!!

Other ‘upgrades’ include new front shocks, suspension repaint, Gill Judd Half doors, and tonneau.

    Roll on April 07 !!!

    Caterham Se7ens to Croix-en-Ternois (Sept '06)

Drove the Seven down to Croix en Ternois via Dover with Steve & Neil.

The highlight of the drive was slowing all the traffic up on the dual carriageway, for a very loud and fast side by side blast through the tunnel en route to Dover..

Arrived in Pol, close to the circuit at a very quaint chateau, that probably hasn't changed in 60 years !!, where we were staying in Gites.

We then set out to sample the local delights !!! - including one very odd local , who after kissing us all on the head, jabbering away in French, and advising us on the dangers of drinking and driving , fell out of the pub, got into his car and slalomed up the hill waving and shouting.

The next morning, and NO Hangover !!! (Obviously not trying hard enough !!!!) We arrived at the track after meeting up with the rest of the crew who were staying in the town center, to be greeted with the sweet smells of France ....NOT ! (you had to be there to experience the full 'flavour' !!)

The next night was a more organised repeat of the previous night at a restaurant in Pol - with a medieval flavour, complete with knights in armour, squires, and people blowing flames !!! (obviously no Health & Safety jobsworths in France !) , and I became a squire for the night !! (See pics)

Thanks to BHP Trackdays (www.BHPTrackdays.co.uk) , who organised a fantastic day, from Novice Laps in the morning, to an open track ALL DAY.

And I only spun once !!!!

Great fun ! - hope to be back next year !
